Schlegel reported that due to a clerical error between the Lenawee County Equalization Department and our township which caused our reduction to exceed the State of Michigan guidelines. Due to this there will be a change in the SEV of all residential properties in Tecumseh Township of 2.4%. The SEV values will increase by 2.4% which will take these values from a 10% reduction to a 7.6% reduction for 2009. This may cause an increase in the taxable values if residents did not already receive the 4.4% increase this year on their notices sent out in February.
