May 14, 2007
The regular meeting of the Tecumseh Twp. Board was called to order at 7:00 P.M. Roll call was taken- present were, Trustee Lamb, Clerk Brown, Trustee Feight , Supervisor Schlegel and Treasurer Bunch. Attorney Brooks was also present.
Supervisor Schlegel led the Pledge of Allegiance.
A motion to approve the minutes of the April 9, 2007 meeting was made by Lamb; seconded by Schlegel. Motion carried.
A motion was made by Brown to accept the Treasurer's report as presented and place it on file; seconded by Lamb. Motion carried.
A motion to approve the payment of the bills was made by Feight; seconded by Schlegel. Motion carried.
A motion to accept the Building Inspector's report was made by Lamb; seconded by Bunch. Motion carried.
Schlegel moved to approve the contract with Comcast with the same provisions as the previous contract; seconded by Lamb. Motion carried.
The Board discussed GIS mapping of the township and noise ordinance.
Feight moved to adjourn the regular meeting to hold the Public Hearing on proposed budget and salary; seconded by Schlegel. Motion carried.
The Public Hearing was call to order at 7:20 P.M. the Operating Millage and Public Safety Millage and the proposed budget were discussed. Lamb moved the Public Hearing be adjourned at 7:30 P.M.; seconded by Feight. Motion carried.
Lamb moved to approve the 2007 - 2008 budget as proposed; seconded by Bunch. Motion carried.
Supervisor Report was given.
Schlegel moved to approve the contract with Lenawee County Road Commission for gravel and grading on Hewlett Hwy. for a total of $8,630.37 and the down payment of $3,020.63; seconded by Lamb. Motion carried.
Open discussion was held.
There being no further business, Bunch moved the meeting be adjourned at 8:05 P.M.; seconded by Schlegel. Motion carried.
