Tecumseh Township

Attendees: Supervisor Curt Brown, Treasurer Rick Bunch, Clerk Sandy Lewis, Trustee Jerry Coulter, Trustee Mike Feight, Attorney Mike Brooks

The meeting was called to order at 7:00 PM by Supervisor Brown.  Supervisor Brown led the attendees in the Pledge of Allegiance.

Minutes:

All Board members had reviewed minutes from the September 13, 2021 meeting. There were no corrections or changes.  Bunch made a motion to approve; seconded by Coulter.  Motion passed by voice vote.

Treasurer's Report:

Treasurer Bunch gave a report on the financial status of the Township.  There being no additions or corrections, the report was placed on file.  Treasurer Bunch presented the list of bills for discussion. Motion to pay bills made by Coulter; seconded by Feight.  Motion passed by voice vote. 

Clerk's Report

Draft resolutions to formally establish the township mileage and home office internet reimbursement policy were introduced.  Supervisor Brown requested that copies be sent to all board members for further review and discussion.

A draft of a FOIA policy & procedure, summary, and rate sheet were introduced.  A copy will be sent to all board members for further review and discussion.

The Tecumseh Township CLFRF application has been resubmitted with a minor change and pending audit review.

Building Inspectors Report:

None

Old Business: 

A public hearing will be scheduled in October or November to discuss proposed changes to the land requirements for livestock.  The board will receive a proposal of the changes prior to the public meeting.

New Business: 

Mark Amstutz requested a land split for parcels TEO-123-3900-00 and TEO-126-2000-00   The request has been reviewed and approved by the township assessor Amanda Lacelle.  After discussion regarding the splits, a motion was made by Trustee Coulter to approve the split to combine the 2 existing parcels to 1 new TEO.  This was seconded by Supervisor Brown.

Supervisor's Report:

A letter was received from D&P Communications offering their services to assess and improve our township broadband needs.  This is one of the approved uses of the CLFRF funds.

There being no additional business before the Board, Coulter made a motion to adjourn. Motion seconded by Bunch. Meeting adjourned at 8:05 PM.
