Monthly Minutes!
APRIL 12, 2010
The regular meeting of the Tecumseh Township Board was called to order by Supervisor Schlegel at 7:00 P.M.
Supervisor Schlegel led the Pledge of Allegiance.
Roll call was taken- present were, Supervisor Schlegel, Clerk Brown, Trustee Lamb, Trustee Feight and Treasurer Bunch. Attorney Brooks was also present.
A motion to approve the minutes of the March 8, 2010 meeting was made by Lamb; seconded by Schlegel. Motion carried.
The Treasurer's report was reviewed and placed on file.
A motion for the approval to pay the bills was made by Brown; seconded by Feight. Motion carried.
Building Inspector's report was given and placed on file.
The Board discussed the Township mosquito control program and decided to discontinue the past program due to the unavailability of Advance Pest Management to service our Township.
The weight restrictions that are on Billmyer Hwy. between M-50 and Milwaukee Rd. were discussed by the Board and the Board decided to keep the weight restrictions.
Lamb gave a report on wind generators and cell tower ordinances to the Board. The Board discussed and reviewed the ordinances and turned them over to the Township attorney to review and report back to the Board.
Schlegel moved to amend the Bills to add a bill from Lenawee County Equalization for $65.00; seconded by Brown. Motion carried.
The Board reviewed the 2010-2011 Township Budgets and set the Public Hearing for May 10, 2010 at 7:30 at the Masonic Lodge.
Schlegel reviewed the possible road work to be done in 2010 which included tile and stone for Stone Hwy. and Smith Rd. and the Board tabled any action.
Schlegel moved to pay $65.00 for Trustee Lamb to attend a workshop on renewable energy; seconded by Bunch. Motion carried.
Supervisor's report was given.
There being no further business, Feight moved the meeting be adjourned at 8:10 P.M.; seconded by Brown. Motion carried.
