Monthly Minutes!
August 13, 2007
The regular meeting of the Tecumseh Twp. Board was called to order at 7:00 P.M. Roll call was taken- present were, Trustee Lamb, Clerk Brown, Trustee Feight and Treasurer Bunch. Attorney Brooks was also present. Supervisor Schlegel was absent.
A motion to approve the minutes of the July 9, 2007 meeting was made by Bunch; seconded by Feight. Motion carried.
A motion was made by Brown to accept the Treasurer's report as presented and place it on file; seconded by Feight. Motion carried.
A motion to approve the payment of the bills was made by Lamb; seconded by Brown. Motion carried.
A motion to accept the Building Inspector's report was made by Lamb; seconded by Bunch. Motion carried.
Mobile Home Park Zoning tabled until next meeting and further review by attorney Brooks.
Motion made by Bunch to pay dues to the River Raisin Watershed; seconded by Lamb. Ayes-3 Nay-1, motion carried.
Tecumseh Township Master Plan was discussed and maps reviewed.
The Board discussed the Exotic Animal Ordinance and tabled until the board has time to further review the Ordinance.Trustee Lamb gave a report on Lenawee County Land Use Bus Tour.
Bunch moved to amend the Treasure's Report for February meeting to add $50,000.00 to Cash Management total receipts; seconded by Brown, motion carried.
The Board approves the assignment of a Class C Liquor License to Country House Foods, Inc. whose address is 84959 North Adrian Hwy. Tecumseh Michigan 49286. It is further resolved that the application of Country House Foods, Inc. is approved above all others. Ayes-4 Nays-0.
The Lenawee County Solid Waste Department will host a Tire and Electronics Collection on Saturday, September 8, 2007 from 10:00am-2:00 pm at Lenawee County Fair and Event Grounds.
Open discussion was held.
There being no further business, Bunch moved the meeting be adjourned at 8:15 P.M.; seconded by Feight. Motion carried.
