Monthly Minutes!
September 10, 2007
The regular meeting of the Tecumseh Township Board was called to order at 7:00 P.M. Roll call was taken, present were: Supervisor Schlegel, Trustee Lamb, Clerk Brown, Trustee Feight and Treasurer Bunch. Attorney Brooks was also present.
A motion to approve the minutes of the August 13, 2007 meeting was made by Bunch; seconded by Lamb. Motion carried.
A motion was made by Brown to accept the Treasurer's report as presented and place it on file; seconded by Feight. Motion carried.
A motion to approve the payment of the bills was made by Lamb; seconded by Feight. Motion carried.
A motion to accept the Building Inspector's report was made by Brown; seconded by Lamb. Motion carried.
Mr. Richard Davis asked the Board for permission to use a converted pole barn as a second resident at the property he owns at 9257 Macon Hwy. The Board denied him permission.
Mobile Home Park Zoning tabled until the total acreage is determined.
The Board discussed the Exotic Animal Ordinance. There will be a Public Hearing regarding the Ordinance on Monday, October 8, 2007, at 7:15 P.M. at the Masonic Lodge 700 Bishop Reed Drive.
The Board discussed the Operating Millage and Public Safety Millage rates and the rates will remain the same as last years.
Schlegel will find someone to mow foreclosed properties. The Board discussed the possibility of a trash recycle bin with Raisin Township.
The Supervisor's report was given.
Open discussion was held.
There being no further business, Feight moved the meeting be adjourned at 8:15 P.M.; seconded by Bunch. Motion carried.
