Monthly Minutes!
December 10, 2012
The regular meeting of the Tecumseh Township Board was called to order by Supervisor Schlegel at 7:00 P.M.
Supervisor Schlegel led the Pledge of Allegiance,
Roll call was taken- present were, Supervisor Schlegel, Clerk Brown, Trustee Lamb and Trustee Feight and Treasurer Bunch. Attorney Brooks was also present.
A motion to approve the minutes of the November 12, 2012 meeting was made by Bunch; seconded by Feight. Motion carried.
The Treasurer's report was reviewed and placed on file.
A motion for the approval to pay the bills was made by Brown; seconded by Feight. Motion carried. There was no Building Report. The Board discussed the need to review some of the Zoning and Ordinances in the future.
A motion was made by Brown to have the Clerk adjust the 2012-2013 Budget; seconded by Bunch. Motion carried.
After some discussion Schlegel made a motion to have a tree removed at 1775 E-M50 that is on the building then add the removal cost to the owner property tax bill if the tree is not removed by the owners by December 31, 2012; seconded by Lamb. Motion carried.
Possible road maintenance projects for 2013 include Allen Road, North Adrian Hwy. and some subdivisions were discussed. Clerk Brown reported that David Walters CPA which did the Townships Audit said that the audit was clean and everything looked good. Supervisor's report was given. There being no further business, Feight moved the meeting be adjourned at 8:02 P.M.; seconded by Bunch. Motion carried.
